Free Electronic Visas to the Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg

In addition to Finland, citizens of the following countries can also obtain electronic visas to the Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg:

Features of electronic visa:

With an electronic visa, you can get to St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region by plane, sea, by car, bus or on foot:
• Pulkovo checkpoint;
• sea checkpoints “Vysotsk”, “Big Port of St. Petersburg (Marine Station)”, “Passenger Port of St. Petersburg”;
• automobile checkpoints "Ivangorod", "Torfyanovka", "Lingonberry", "Svetogorsk";
• pedestrian checkpoint "Ivangorod".
Important! Entry and exit by electronic visa by train is currently not possible.
An electronic visa is a single entry and is issued for a period of 30 calendar days, starting from the date of issue.
The permitted stay in the Russian Federation on an electronic visa is up to 8 days (192 hours), starting from the date of entry, within the validity period.

The validity period of the electronic visa and the permitted duration of stay for it are not subject to extension.It is not possible to apply for an electronic visa during the validity period of a visa.

Types of Visas:

Electronic visas can only be of the following categories: business (travel purpose - business), tourist (travel purpose - tourism), humanitarian (travel purposes - sports, cultural, scientific and technical communications)
Foreign citizens have leave the Russian Federation exclusively through checkpoints of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation to which they entered. That is, you can’t enter the Leningrad region, but leave, for example, through the Pskov region.

Color photo, (35x45): must be taken not earlier than 6 months and be color.

All of the following children together with their parents must have a separate electronic visa.

The information presented in your application must be complete and reliable. Indication of any incorrect information, including passport data and photos, may result in a refusal to issue a visa or cancellation of an already issued visa at a checkpoint across the State border of the Russian Federation

Attention!An electronic visa notice is not a guarantee of your entry into the Russian Federation. You may be denied entry directly at the border checkpoint in the event of circumstances specified in Federal Law of August 15, 1996 N 114-ФЗ “On the Procedure for Departure from the Russian Federation and Entry into the Russian Federation”.
